Riverview-Based Home Inspector Joins Ranks At ASHI
Joseph Burkeson, owner of Square-One Inspection Services, a Riverview firm that conducts pre-purchase home inspections, has just been admitted as a member of ASHI, The American Society of Home Inspectors.
ASHI, founded in 1976, is the leading national professional organization of independent home inspectors in the U.S. Its standards of practice and code of ethics are benchmarks of professional performance in the field.
To become a member of ASHI, an inspector must meet rigorous professional and technical requirements, including the successful completion of two comprehensive written exams. In addition, he or she must perform at least 250 fee-paid home inspections that meet or exceed the ASHI Standards of Practice.
Once admitted to ASHI, inspectors must comply with the society's code of ethics, standards of practice and policies, including a requirement to obtain 60 ASHI-approved continuing education credits every three years.
Burkeson, an inspector for 15 years, conducts pre-purchase home inspections for buyers of new and existing homes in the Tampa Bay area. Further information about Square One Inspection Services is available by calling 813-864-7697.
